Ages 6–13 | 9:00 AM–3:00 PM | October 19th and November 23rd
Our Youth Competition Intensive is designed for young athletes who want to take their Jiu Jitsu to the next level and become more confident and prepared for competition.
This is not your typical PD Day camp. While we’ll make sure the kids have fun and enjoy their day together, the focus will be on six hours of structured, competition-specific training and development.
Throughout the day, athletes will work on areas such as:
• Competition strategy and understanding points
• Takedowns and starting the match strong
• Competition-specific techniques and sequences
• Positional and situational sparring
• Escapes and working from difficult positions
• Competition-paced rounds
• Mock matches and match strategy
• Developing confidence, composure and mental toughness
• Learning how to make adjustments during a match
• Preparing for the intensity and pressure of tournament day
Our goal is to give our youth athletes something that is difficult to accomplish during a regular one-hour class: an entire day dedicated to sharpening their competition game.
Whether your child is already an experienced competitor or is beginning to prepare for competition, this intensive is an opportunity to spend six focused hours learning, drilling, rolling and developing the skills and mindset needed to step onto the competition mats with confidence.
Athletes should bring:
Gi, No-Gi gear, flip-flops, water bottle and lunch
$100 per athlete per day
Limited spaces available to maintain a strong coach-to-athlete ratio.
Train with purpose. Prepare with confidence. Compete ready.
